Es bueno que varios de estos maestros hayan perpertuado los bailes que les fueron enseñados a ellos exactamente como les fue instruido. Y atravès de sus enseñanzas es que nosotros tendremos aquello que fuè y como debe ser hasta nuestros tiempos actuales. Pero ese no es mi trabajo. Mi trabajo es perpetuar el Hula en el estilo antiguo y no exagerar o improvisar en los movimientos o mociones que corresponden al Kahiko. Tienen que ser efectuados sobre la linea que fueron enseñados en esa guia critica. Hay que mantener la tradiciòn aunque pueda presentarse de manera coreografiada en nuestros dìas. Lo mas importante para un Kumuhula es ser fuerte espiritualmente.
